1 less action per scan. With Motion Loop and Motion Trigger, a natural hand movement triggers the scan, with no button and no mechanical contact point. The scan is no longer a separate step. It becomes part of the movement your workers already make.
At a glance
- Motion Loop: holds the NIMMSTA Smart Watch securely on the hand. Seamlessly knitted, size-adjustable, fits either hand, breathable, washable and works with any glove. The Motion Loop is made in Europe.
- Motion Trigger: a natural movement triggers the scan. There are no mechanical buttons.
- Part of the Process Solution: not a new device, but one more building block of the guided process.
Why we replaced the button
Every scan with a button is an extra action. The worker reaches, presses, scans and reaches again. Over a shift, that adds up. Then there is the mechanics: buttons have contact points, wear out and need maintenance.
That is why we replaced the trigger pad with motion detection. Hands stay free for the goods.
How Motion Trigger works
The Smart Watch detects a natural hand movement and triggers the scan. How sensitive the trigger is depends on the process:
- Picking: a controlled gesture, so exactly the right item is confirmed.
- Sorting: fast high-performance scanning at the pace of the parcels.
NIMMSTA Service configures the setting for your process. Converting a Smart Watch can be reversed at any time. See it in practice in our Motion Trigger video.
What it means for your process
- 1 less action per scan: scan, work instruction and next process step flow into each other.
- 1 less wear part: less mechanics means fewer points of failure in daily operation. Maintenance and spare devices sit with us anyway.
- Fast start: the movement is intuitive. New staff are productive in minutes, because the process guides them.
Not a new device. A better process.
Others optimize the scan. We guide the process. Motion Loop and Motion Trigger are not a hardware update for its own sake. They make the guided process simpler, faster and more intuitive for the worker.
We measure the result per process and shift, not per person: up to 65% higher productivity, 0 errors in the guided process and 100% transparency.
See it live
Next week, we show the NIMMSTA Process Solution at Logistics & Automation in Madrid (11 and 12 November) and at Industry Tech Day in Munich (12 November). Come and talk to us there.
